HEAVY DUTY, GALVANIZED- 1/2" thick steel 1'x1' anchor plate with exact fit post sleeve welded onto plate. Post sleeve is 3/16" thick with pre drilled pilot holes to save bits. Post sleeve is 6-5/8" wide for exact fit on 7" hollow aluminum 1/8" vertical columns= NO NEED FOR SHIMS!
3/4" pre drilled at base for wedge anchors. The entire part is Hot Dipped Galvanized to eliminate the need for coating when in contact with aluminum post.
No shimming or painting required for these exact fit parts that will last the lifetime of the pergola.
Used for Lateral stability Momentum control. Eliminates the need for knee bracing or post notch attachment in most builds.
